Amma Bodywork Therapy

At Crowell, Feeney and Associate, we typically provide a one-hour Amma bodywork treatment which may include additional techniques such as gua sha (friction to move stagnation), moxa (an herb used to move stagnation, to add heat, or to increase the actions of a particular acu point) and fire cupping at no additional cost.

Chinese Herbal Formulas

We also carry Chinese herbs and additional supplements for our clients. Because the correct use of Chinese herbs requires an accurate diagnosis of the client's signs and symptoms, we do not ordinarily sell herbs to the general public.

Chinese herbal preparations and formulas tend to be more mild than western pharmaceuticals, but one still needs to be cautious when combining the two. We prefer Chinese herbs because not only do they provide symptomatic relief, they work to correct the underlying patterns of disharmony. Once the body's balance has been restored, clients may not need to continue taking the herbs, which is very different from most pharmaceutical drugs. Again, the use of herbs depends on individual diagnosis and requires the knowledge of an experienced practitioner. At Crowell, Feeney & Associates we do have the advantage of having Rylen Feeney, a Diplomate in Chinese Herbs (NCCAOM) and Kristina Katinka, a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) available for herbal advice.

Payment Policy

All payment is due at the time of service.

Any outstanding invoice will be billed one more time and then forwarded to collections.

A $25 processing fee will be applied for all returned checks.

We accept all credit and debit cards.

Cancellation Policy

We request 24 hours notice on all cancellations.

Appointments cancelled in less than 24 hours will be charged at half price.

No shows will be charged the practitioners full price.
